The U.S. sledge hockey team is mowing down the competition in Sochi only allowing 1 goal through 2 games.

The United States continued its strong showing in Sochi by grabbing 2 more silver medals on day 2. We medalled in the women’s 12k cross-country, sitting, and our male athletes got their first medal in the men’s super G, visually impaired. This brings the American medal count to 5. We also got our first win in wheelchair curling after 2 losses yesterday by defeating Norway 8 to 5. Our sledge hockey team kept right on rolling by shutting out Korea 3 to 0. They have outscored their opponents 8 to 1 in their first 2 games. Although we are still in search of our first gold medal, we are off to a good start in these 2014 Paralympic games.
